My Writing History

Hmm... So let's get to the point: I want to be a writer and I wrote (attempted) my first story when I was in fourth grade. It was about living in the 1800s on a ranch. Well, it got pretty long but one day I read over everything, thought it was dumb and quit. So that's that for that story.
Then a few years later when I was older and more experienced with writing I tried to write another story but epically failed when I found out the plot line was almost exactly the same as the book, Everlost by Neal Shusterman. (Excelent book to read if you're in seventh grade.) Eventually I learned to get over failing my second attempt at writing a novel.
I wrote multiple short stories over the following two years until I reached the last three months of my eighth grade year. I sat down with my laptop and wrote ideas for novels. When I finally came to one hours later that I knew I could succeed in writing. So for that summer I wrote and wrote, only for my freshman year to get caught up with me and I pretty much forgot all about it. But I am currently working on it and I am not giving up on this one. :) Hopefully this blog will help me in achieving this major stop on my life's timeline.
<3 your devoted writer, Bre
